This interview is predominantly about issues which fall under our heading of “Governance” and digital content rights management.

First, a brief history of previous occasions in which the Film and TV industry has proclaimed the imminent end of the world as we know it!

And now the digital revolution. MF not surprised that this too is accompanied by fears of the death of TV.

Copying and Piracy

This is vital content for our scenarios and indeed for an industry conference.I’d recommend that all 6 of us Researchers discuss this interview as soon as I am back. Not only does the full interview provide a rich history of TV traumas, it provides potential solutions to some of the recurring funding and governance questions thrown up by research.

Michael has offered to work with us on the Protocols notion. We can make it a valuable element in the scenarios themselves but, of more immediate use, make the development of protocols the key purpose of the industry conference that will go with the release of the research.
